Congratulations Sophie! Your book is great and I couldn't put it down. Although on the other side of the globe, I'm a big fan of Eliza Carthy and really enjoyed the insights that your biography gave - in a very accessible form - to an outstanding musician who has contributed so much already. I also appreciated the background to Eliza's various recordings. I had to keep stopping to play various tracks and albums as they were mentioned in your book.
It's a lively and informative addition to my library. Many thanks for your efforts and give yourself a huge pat on the back!
